Diver (1)

The last distinct noise I could hear as I entered the water was the sound of the engines on the boat, after that the world changes and sounds become mutted, and non-discript. Descending slowly into the deep blue water the air bursts into my mouth with a reasuring hiss from the regulator. As we go futher the depths reveal the twisted rusty corpse of the once proud twin hulled passenger ferry. All is not lost, however, as the boat has now become home to a miriad of sea dwelling life forms. The surface is covered with crustaceans too varied to list, many of which I could not name. With life so abundant around this old lady, its hard to imagine what it used to look like on the surface.

Scuba diving has to be one the most amazing sports a human being can do on the face of this planet.
