Just over a year ago, I was photographing the wedding of Kelly & Ryan. They kindly sat me on one of the guests tables for the wedding breakfast, and I was sat next to Frankie – todays bride. We talked about several things, and it was not long before the subject of her wedding to Adam (Ryan’s best man) came up. Long story shoot, after a couple of questions, I checked my diary at the table and Frankie pretty much booked me there and then to photograph her wedding, and I am so glad that she did.
This wedding was one of my favourites of the year so far. Set in the beautiful surroundings of a family friend in Tewkesbury, and knowing a little about Frankie, Adam and some of their friends – I knew I was set for a pretty awesome wedding. It was better than expected. Such a fun group of friends that had me laughing the whole day.
I have to make a special mention of the food that was served. A huge slab of beef, and a even bigger slab of pork. A total meat feast that was cooked to perfection. I cannot thank Frankie and Adam enough for feeding me such an amazing feast and inviting me to an even more amazing wedding.
This was one of those weddings that was perfect to get some of those natural, candid shots that really capture the day. Here are a few of my favourites from the day, and I hope you enjoy looking through them.
(Oh, and apparently, Frankie has suggested I offer to fall over at every wedding…!)
