My wife and I were very lucky to land Simon Hunt as our wedding photographer, and we cannot sing his praises loudly enough! From our initial Zoom consultation through to the final delivery of the finished photos and USB stick in it’s lovely presentation box, his experience and confidence shone through.

From the earliest brides preparation photos through to the more “relaxed” snaps at the end of the night, he was attentive & professional, somehow being everywhere capturing everything, being discreet and unobtrusive when the situation needed and being authoritative in marshalling guests when we were getting out of hand!

The enormous quantity of photographs he delivered surpassed all our expectations, beautifully capturing everything from fine dress details to enormous group shots in front of our beautiful wedding venue.

Everything from carefully posed family portraits through to candid snapshots of funny, emotional, and beautiful moments were exquisitely captured and we regularly relive the entire day through his work, which we will treasure forever.

Working was Simon was fantastic. He’s a hugely relaxing presence in the run up to our wedding, simple pricing, clear process and questions to ask us meant no headaches in planning, and we really relied on his experience of how and when to structure our photos. On the day, he was equally calming, fitting in seamlessly with guests and wedding party alike, and was wonderful company when were doing our private shoot. We couldn’t be happier with the photos, they offer a bit of everything, from formality and family, to candid in the middle of our ceilidh. Simon photographed our wedding in July 2022 and surpassed all expectations of ours. From when we orinigally contacted Simon, through to after our wedding, he was extremely professional, friendly and promptly and efficiently replied to all of our queries. He was fully transparent with the services he offers and the cost for these services, and took the time to discuss with both myself and my husband what we wanted from our wedding photography experience. The day of our wedding Simon arrived early in the morning and straight away became part of the wedding preparations, getting to know the bridal party and ensuring key photographs were captured, yet stress free. Simons professionalism was conveyed throughout the whole day, and his experience in his field was truly evident. Simon naturally doubled up as a wedding coordinator – for example ensuring guests were in the right place at the right time, organising cake cutting/first dance/sparklers, and generally being present at every important moment in the day to make sure it ran smoothly. Simon made us so at ease having our photographs taken and was happy to continue taking our sole photographs for as long/little as we desired, and his enthusiasm made us feel so special as a just wed couple.Simon ensured our turnaround on our photographs was as quick as possible, and the quality of the photographs was excellent. Simon Hunt, book him immediately! From the beginning Simon has been magic he is such a personable man who puts even the most nervous (in front of the camera) bride to be at ease. Simon fitted in with our wedding with such calmness and felt like another all be it very talented guest. From his arrival on our wedding morning where he took beautiful, natural shots and offered invaluable advice I knew he was a man of experience. We are so delighted that he listened to our brief and was happy to adapt on the day and take additional shots aside from this. All in all our experience with Simon has been exceptional and he has captured moments from our day beautifully.

Working in the bridal industry myself, there are quite a few photographers that I am aware of but the first person I thought of for my own wedding day, was Simon. I met him a few years ago when he captured my friends wedding and I remembered how friendly, interactive and hardworking he was. The end result of your wedding album is obviously extremely important (& I had no doubt that Simon’s photos would be exactly as we wanted) but so is the connection that you have with your photographer on the day – a bad one can truly ruin your experience. We found Simon by searching on Instagram and from the first interactions we knew that he was going to the the man to capture our big day, not only were his photos amazing, but the attention to us and super efficient correspondence from the outset we knew we were in good hands.
