This years season has gotten off to a flying start. My First UK wedding was at one of my favourite venues in Somerset - Crowcombe Court. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph there several times, and I love going.

The Georgian house is set in a stunning location in the Quantock Hills and provides a perfect backdrop for your wedding. The interior of the house is perfect, with wooden floors, beautiful bedrooms with a magnificent staircase leading down to the main ball room.

Megan and Ed booked me to photograph their wedding after a recommendation from their friends Katie and Gary - who also had their wedding at Crowcombe. A personal recommendation is how I get most of my wedding bookings.

You can find out more information on Crowcombe Court on their website www.crowcombecourt.co.uk.

Megan booked Sophie Hamer for Make up and hair www.sophiehamer.com.

A beautiful Naked Wedding cake was provided by www.charlottejanecakes.co.uk.

Simon was just fantastic in every way. There is no time limit on his day, he arrived when we wanted him and left when we felt he had captured everything we wanted. His artistic flair was what really stood out for us, small photos like arranging the brides and bridemaids shoes in a way we wouldn’t think of, and the beautiful shots of the bride and groom in specially chosen locations around our venue (you could tell he took the time to look around the place and get an idea for some great shots). After receiving our photos it is incredible seeing what shots he got of us and our guests - times we didn’t even know he was there! Not only was he friendly, he just felt like another guest on our special day. We would highly recommend Simon to anyone, great service and amazing photography. ~ Megan & Ed
